Meet Alvin Costa

Alvin Costa serves as a program manager and was a close friend of Christopher’s. His deep personal connection—and the fact that he was with Christopher on the day of the fatal crash—makes his voice an especially powerful part of our mission. Alvin shares his story with honesty, emotion, and the weight of lived experience, making it both moving and unforgettable.

Meet Fred Hannah

Fred was in the car the night Christopher was killed. Since he was wearing his seatbelt, Fred is still here today. He helps tell Christopher’s story so that we can help prevent more loss.

Even though the driver was reckless, Fred was able to walk away with his life since he was wearing his seatbelt. He advocates for better seat belt safety laws and revisits Christopher’s crash site. He hopes to help educate teens on the extreme importance of seatbelt safety.

Two people holding a large check for $2,000 from Walmart made out to the Christopher King Foundation, with a small table that has a banner with a red rose and a stethoscope design from the foundation, and a clipboard with papers, outdoors on a sunny day.
